The Community Futures Alberta (CFNA) is designed to support 27 Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) located throughout the province of Alberta. As such, it is available at the request of an individual CFDC or group of CFDCs to provide assistance to the CFDC as required.
It also provides support services including the developing of more global than local contacts and programs for the benefit of all CFDCs.
The Youth Connections program is designed to assist youth aged 15-24 move in the workforce. It connects young people to learning and employment information, resources, labour market and career information, opportunities for work experience and on-the-job skill development. In addition, the program offers assistance with school-to-work transition for high school students.
